When you enter the “Al Hamada” palace, known as “Al-Hammadi Serail” in the town of Baakline, the first center of the concerned emirate, you will be in the presence of history and civilization. Between its walls, the past embraces the present to draw the history of the ancestors. In it, you meet personalities who had a major role in the history of Lebanon, such as Prince Fakhr al-Din al-Ma’ni II, Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, Sheikh Bashir Jumblatt, Prince Amin Arslan, and Prince Shakib Arslan, and they top the walls of the palace in a group of oil paintings signed by Talaat Hamadeh, Salil al-Saray.
