The construction of this house dates back to the year 1800 by the late Youssef Lebos El Chacar, and it was passed on by inheritance to his son Najm El Chacar.

Then it was renovated in the year 1957 by the late Tanios Najm El-Chacar, the mukhtar of the town of Maaser al-Shouf for almost sixty years.

The ownership of this house was transferred by inheritance to the late Nabih El-Chacar and then to his daughter Suzanne, who renovated it in 2018.

All the heirs have preserved the heritage of this house built of natural stone, given that its moral value is more important than its material value.

In view of the memories of many of the heirs of the late Tanios Najm El-Chacar and the memories of many of the townspeople.

In order for it to remain a station for all of them, this house was restored and a guest house was established in it, and it was called Zekrayat - Guest House (Memories) to preserve its heritage character and it remains a destination for everyone who loves to visit this distinctive town.
