Demit is one of the Lebanese villages in the Chouf District in the Mount Lebanon Governorate. It is 40 km away from Beirut to reach it through Khaldeh Damour, the exit of Beiteddine to reach Damit, it passes next to the Mushrif, the confluence of the two rivers. Damit is 400 meters above sea level. There is an eco- village on the river bank.
